Stuck transfer recovery

What to do if the attestation times out.

Symptoms

  • The deposit txn is confirmed on the origin chain but the LiberX balance hasn't moved after 2× the expected confirmation window.
  • The bridge UI shows "awaiting attestation" with no progress bar motion.

Action

  1. Copy the origin-chain transaction hash.
  2. Open a ticket via https://liberx.xyz/support or ping Telegram with the hash.
  3. The ops team re-signs the attestation manually — funds are never lost, only delayed.

Why this happens

Most commonly: an origin-chain reorg, a validator downtime, or a relay outage. The contract holds the funds until either a quorum signs or a 7-day timeout triggers a refund on the origin chain.
